 MITOCHONDRION

The mitochondrion is filled with fluid inside enzymes floating in the fluid and other enzymes associated with the inner membrane activate various reactions of   the  cell respiratory cycles the energy released in these reaction is stored in the form of ATP

studies have shows that the mitochondria contain not only RNA but also DNA and thus carry blue prints for their own replication and growth independent of the DNA in the nucleus indeed it has even been suggested that the mitochondria had their origin in the form of independent microbes which joined with early forms of living cells in a mutually beneficial association thus modulation of RNA -DNA genes through microbes and its replication opens new horizons in genetic physiology and its clinical application
