HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

 Muscles of the shoulder girdle::

1. The deltoid muscle is situated between the scapula clavicle and deltoid tuberosity of the humerus it covers the shoulder joint it abducts the shoulder 
2. The supraspinatus muscle is situated in the supraspinosus fossa it abducts the shoulder
3.The subscapularis muscle lies in the subscapular fossa it rotates the shoulder

muscles of the arm ::

1.The biceps is situated anteriorly on the upper arm it origin is on the scapula and insertion on the radius the muscle keeps the arm attached to the shoulder and the elbow joint it flexes the arm and supinates the fore arm 
2. The brachialis muscle lies under the biceps and extends from the humerus to the coronoid process of the ulna it flexes the elbow joint 
3.The triceps is situated on the posterior side of the upper arm it originates from the scapula and humerus and is inserted on the ulna it extends the forearm and adducts the arm 
4. The other muscles include flexor carpi radialis flexor digitorum sublimis extensor carpi radialis (brevis longus and ulnaris )brachio radialis etc these muscles move the hand and fingers
