 Ischaemia::

It is a temporary sudden loss of blood supply to a particular part of the body leading to its partial damage due to lack of oxygen if in the heart it is called cardiac ischaemia 

Aneurysm::

It is a bulging of an artery because of the weakness of the arterial wall increased blood pressure or both in relation to the aorta it is called Aortic-aneurysm 

Arteriosclerosis::

It is the hardening and narrowing of arteries Atherosclerosis is a form of arteriosclerosis in which fatty deposite are formed within the walls of arteries resulting in decreased blood supply to the part in old people it often affects arteries of the brain and is named cerebral arteriosclerosis 

Peripheral vascular diseases::

These are obliterative arterial diseases of the limbs and functional disorders of small peripheral vessels 

Thrombosis::

It is the process of formation of a solid clot during blood circulation the solid clot is called the thrombus A thrombus is usually initiated by platelets and it is fragile at the start Fibrin may form a part the thrombus if the thrombus is formed in veins it is known as venous thrombosis if it is formed in arteries it is known as Arterial thrombosis Arterial thrombosis is dangerous particularly if it is coronary cerebral or renal being formed in heart brain and kidney respectively 

Embolism::

Impaction of an embolus in a blood vessel is known as embolism An embolus is a substance transported from thrombosed part of circulation to another part where it is impacted cutting off the blood supply of that part sometimes cerebral embolism may follow heart thrombosis
