SURGICAL METHODS :: OPERATION AND LAPAROSCOPY

1.Vasectomy in Men ::

Sterilisation of the male as well as female is cent percent reliable sterilisation of the male is easy it does not need even hospitalisation It is called Vasectomy operation Vas deferens which is a tube that carries the sperms is cut on both sides and ligated

2.Tubectomy in women ::

In females the Tubectomy operation needs opening of the abdomen it is best done after delivery when fallopian tubes of the uterus are easily approachable Further the mother is in the hospital for ten days after delivery so no extra hospitalisation is needed of course this tubectomy operation can also be done during any time of the year but the woman should not be pregnant at the time of operation

Fearphobia ::

After FP operations the sexual life remains quite normal only thing is that they cannot have a child
This sterilisation operation was regarded as irreversible But now new surgical techniques are evolved to reunite the ligatured vas-deferens in the male and the two fallopian tubes in the female so as to make impregnation again possible if it is so essential Such operations are generally not very successful in refertilisation of the womb
